REPEATSHINE
How to Get Repeat Mobile Detailing Customers Back
A customer can be happy with the work and still never think about rebooking at the right time. Before buying more leads, separate your past customers by timing so you know who actually deserves a follow-up today.
A simple recovery plan
- 1. Separate active from unknown.
Customers with a known last-service date belong in the rebooking queue. Missing dates belong in a cleanup queue. - 2. Use service timing, not guesswork.
A maintenance wash, full detail, and coating follow-up do not belong on the same schedule. - 3. Flag due, overdue, and already rebooked.
This prevents contacting customers who have already booked and keeps attention on the real gap. - 4. Contact the smallest useful group first.
Ten relevant check-ins beat a hundred random messages. - 5. Review outcomes weekly.
If people say the timing is wrong, change the interval. If they rebook, capture the booked value and next date.
A simple “due again” message
Hi [Name] — hope the [vehicle] is still looking good. Based on when we last did the [service], you may be getting close to the next one. Want me to send over a couple of available times?
Keep it personal, relevant to the customer's last service, and easy to ignore without pressure.
